Lesson 1

Getting the Program

This program is a free download from Adobe.

It is not available in the retail market.

Introduction

Adobe Photoshop Album 2.0 Starter will allow you to download your pictures directly into the program. It will organize your pictures, show you thumbnails of them, and will allow you to make automatic corrections to them. You will be able to print or email any of your pictures. The program can be upgraded at a very reasonable cost (about $50 US). The upgrade gives you more features as well as compatibility with both Photoshop Elements and Photoshop CS2.

Go to

www.adobe.com

From the top menu,

Select [ Products ]

From the drop down menu,

Select [ Digital Imaging ]

Click on:

[ Photoshop Album 2.0 ]

Click on:

[Photoshop Album Starter]

Click on:

[ Download ]

Again, click on:

[ Download ]

A final click on:

[ Download ]

Now, click on:

[ Save ]

Use the drop down arrow to select the “Desktop” as the “Save in”

Then click on:

[ Save ]

The Download program will now download the “Installer Program” onto your desktop.

When the download is complete, click on:

[ Close ]

When this process is complete, there will be a new “Icon” on the desktop.

Conclusion

You have now downloaded the free version of Adobe Album Starter 2.0.

The icon on the desktop represents the Installation Program and not the actual program itself.
